Last night (this morning?) Juliet woke me at 4am saying very loudly "duck duck duck duck duck duck" (which sounds like "Duh, Duh, Duh, Duh, Duh, Duh, Duh"). I roll my head and say to her "Do you need to go potty?" and she very promptly replies "poop" and waves her little fist in her verison of the potty sign language sign. So I pick her up, stumble my way to the bathroom and put her on her potty. She poops, says "poop", and then signed all done. She knew she needed to go, AND told me that she needed to go! The duck thing is new- I think it's because we play with her rubber ducks on the potty (easy to clean!). However, while I was cleaning out the potty, I notice the floor got wet, and in the dark (I just have a night light and don't turn on the overhead so she can potty, but know it's nighttime) I figured she had peed. I say very calmy "pee pee goes in the potty when you poop, not the floor", then I turn on the light to clean up the pee, aaaand it wasn't pee. After cleaning up the poop (gross!) I put a clean diaper on, and go looking for a clean pair of PJ pants (she'd been standing over her diaper and pants when she pooped). As I'm searching I hear behind me 'squuuuelccchhhh'. *sigh* She'd pooped in her clean diaper. But I'm still calling It a successful catch cause we caught the first one.
Yup- I'm calling them Woises. They're not words yet, but they are more than noises and Juliet is making them! We have Boo for Boobie (of course LOL), Poh for Potty, Ca Ca for Kitty, Daa for That, Ya for YAY and Hi for well Hi and CUTEST of all O O for Uh Oh
